THE RED CANOE:
I took a wide panoramic photo either with my Canon 7D or my Android S9 Cell at the time of our red canoe at Lac St-Cyr in Alberta, Canada. In the distance, you can see the Foisy's cottage.
I like the look of art and photos on 3 or more panel canvasses and wanted to get 3 panel canvasses printed, so I could put them either on a wall at our home in St. Paul or at the cottage at Lac-Cyr. I ended up getting a bigger-sized one made and a smaller-sized one made. I'll have to give one of them to my sister Sarah; I think she would really like it for their place.
In post, in Photoshop, I selected the sky on the far right side of the photo; that's part of the far right panel, erased it, and had a layer below it in pure white. I wanted it pure white because I wanted the texture of the canvas paper to show up on that side of the art piece, as if the sky is an empty canvas and clouds are a rip in space.
This Art piece is related to my "Popified Profiles" technique.
In the spot in the lake in the image between our family's cottage and the Foisy's cottage, I had been canoeing and trying to film a vlog when it suddenly got wavy and I fell in the water, and something wild happened.
